Get To Know Me

WHAT IS MY PERSONAL BACKGROUND?

I grew up in Las Vegas and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In my adolescence and young adulthood I enjoyed extra curricular activities including: cheerleading, swimming, dance, student council and DECA. In college I was a member of the Consolidated Students of the University of Nevada (CSUN), where I served as the assistant marketing director for two years. I was also a member of the Panhellenic sorority Alpha Delta Pi for four years.

WHAT OTHER AREAS DO I HAVE EXPERIENCE IN?

At 18 I had my first job working at Chipotle during the summer of 2014. Once I began school in August, I took a new job working as a library circulation coordinator. From there for the next two and a half years I would continue working my way through school as a hostess. The restaurants I worked at a hostess at ranged from swanky downtown comfort food establishment, to a fine-dining steak house on The Strip.

While also working as a hostess, I had another role working for Girl Scouts of America as a troop coordinator. In that position, I was a troop leader, and had a rotation of schools I would visit each week to lead troop activities. Then in the summer I was a day camp counselor at Camp Ducktail.

Throughout college I would also pick up additional jobs doing things like working local events, event setup, and event execution. I worked for a staffing agency as an usher at concerts, sporting event watch parties and festivals.

I also worked as a nanny and babysitter. Most of the families I cared for were on a weekly or as-needed basis, until the year leading up to my senior year I accepted a part-time position as a nanny, and I worked for that family for nearly 2 years before beginning my professional work experience at an advertising agency called R&R Partners.

All in all, these experiences combined, with my professional training have made me a very well rounded team player. I am patient and understanding, I have a good attitude, I enjoy learning new things and working with a team. 

WHAT ARE MY INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF WORK?

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our dog, I do yoga as often as I can and I spend a lot of time with my friends and family. Since my partner is from Sweden, we like to take a trip there to visit our friends and his family every summer. In the winter I have a lot of fun skiing. I love trying new restaurants, seeing new cities and going to live sporting events. In my downtime I read and watch the occasional romcom or listen to a podcast.
